Signal ("we", "our", or "us") is a marketwatch app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our mobile app and web platform (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Account information

We store account credentials and identifiers such as user ID, hashed password, and server/environment details needed to run your marketwatch.

2.2 Marketwatch usage data

We log actions such as symbol search, symbol add/remove events, login events, and session activity. This data is used to provide and improve marketwatch functionality.

2.3 Device and technical data

Our servers may record standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user-agent, timestamp). The mobile app may request permission to send push notifications; you can disable this at any time from device settings.

2.4 Crash and performance data

We may use crash diagnostics tools to diagnose technical issues. Crash diagnostics may include device model, OS version, and the state of the app at the time of a crash. No personally identifiable information is intentionally included in these diagnostics.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To authenticate your identity and maintain session security.
• To render and maintain your marketwatch and symbol list.
• To send app notifications related to marketwatch events (with your permission).
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access.

We retain account and marketwatch data for as long as your account is active. If your account is deactivated, we may retain data for up to 3 years for audit and compliance purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and access controls. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is available where supported. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is perfectly secure.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

You have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for push notifications via device settings.
